The Council of Ministers approved today, after the proposal of the holder of Environment, Agriculture and Sustainability, Silvia Calvó, the tender for the 3rd phase of the construction of the Road between the bridge of Sornàs and the town of Ansalonga, in the parish of Ordino.
This road gives continuity to the existing one from the town of Ordino to La Cortinada and is part of the Sectorial Plan for green infrastructures contemplated in the National Landscape Strategy. The purpose is to connect the urban centers with the Sorteny natural park on the roads and bring nature closer to the citizens in an easy way.
With the tender approved today, the last stretch of the road will be built in the parish of Ordino, and the sectorial Plan for green infrastructures will be completed. The path between the Sornàs bridge and the village of Ansalonga will run along the side of the Valira del Nord river.
The tender is made through open national competition. The deadline for submission is November 12.
