Udaipur : Two kids were drowned on Monday Morning after their mother threw them into a well and jumped afterwards in order to end life. The tragedy took place at Gamdi Dasshera village under Sadar police station in Banswara district. The woman and one of the child were rescued who are admitted in the civil hospital.

Police said Jasoda and her husband Ganpat Yadav often had quarrels. Ganpat was crossed with Jasoda for always serving him cold food which was the major reason between the couple fight. On Sundaynight too, they had a heated conversation over food which had deeply affected the woman. On Monday morning around 5.30 am she took her kids Shivani (13), Nandini (9) and Shailu (7) along on the pretext of defecation and went straight to a well situated some half kilometers away.  She dumped the kids first and then jumped herself into the well. Some people who saw the woman cried for help . Large number of villagers gathered and pulled out the survivors while there was no trace of the younger kids. The villagers pumped the water out in order to search them and after two hours of intense efforts, their bodies were seen.  Jasoda and Shivani were rushed to MG hospital.
