Huawei has added two new smartphones to its mid-range offering. The Huawei Nova 2 and the Nova 2 Plus have been launched in China and will be available in Aurora Blue, Grass Green, Gold, Obsidian Black and Rose Gold colors. The Nova 2 retails at CNY 2499 (Rs 23,493/$364) while the Nova 2 Plus commands a slight premium at CNY 2,899 (Rs 27,252/$422). Both the smartphones are already available for pre-order and will start shipping in China from June 16th.

The Nova 2 comes equipped with a 5-inch FHD 2.5D display while the Plus variant comes with a larger 5.5-inch FHD 2.5D curved glass display. The smartphones are powered by the octa-core Kirin 659 alongside 4GB of RAM. The Nova 2 offers 64GB of internal memory while the Nova 2 Plus comes with 128GB, both the variants feature a microSD card slot that can further accommodate up to 128GB.

The Nova 2 and the Nova 2 Plus run on Android 7.0. Once again the camera setup on the Nova devices is its highlights, both the devices offer a dual rear camera setup made up of a 12-Megapixel sensor and a 5-Megapixel sensor while the selfie camera is a 20-Megapixel sensor. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back and both the phones look super sleek at 6.9mm thick. Huawei has also added AK4376A audio chip for a better audio experience.
