Out of all the BB guns I have reviewed, I would go with the classic — The Daisy Red Ryder Rifle. It is the perfect size for a child and is easily handled and manageable when it comes to training and target practice. Again, with all BB guns, there should be adult supervision, protective eye wear, and open spaces in case of any ricochet for safety.
