Review Summary
It’s nice to do a review for the bikes from sixthreezero as they use an unconventional angle to the frame and pedals to make riding a lot easier and comfortable. The sixthreezero Pave n’ Trail Women’s 21-Speed Hybrid Road Bicycle is a very popular bike with a comfortable ride but allowing off road and road crossover to make it a very versatile bike and pretty nice looking too!!
Price
The price for the sixthreezero Pave n’ Trail Women’s 21-Speed Hybrid Road Bicycle is ok. Within the range of bikes we’ll be reviewing, the price for this bike is a bit more than the others. Having said that, it’s still really good value and well below the cost of a mountain bike or road bike although the differences are very obvious with this bike!!

Quality of the Components
The sixthreezero Pave n’ Trail Women’s 21-Speed Hybrid Road Bicycle components can be broken down into various areas that determine the quality. Each of these components can in isolation drop the overall rating for a bike review, simply because the weakest part may be the area which causes the bike overall to be lower quality, i.e. a low quality seat isn’t really an area for concern as opposed to low quality brakes or gears which make a bike unsafe or hard to use.
Frame: Simple aluminium frame with Vibrazorb front suspension fork. Nice low step through model makes it easy to get on/off the bike.
Seat: Comfortable brown synthetic leather seat. Seat is mounted back from the pedals to ensure good distance to the pedals while maintaining a low to ground position to allow the rider to place their feet on the ground easily. It also features a dense compression comfort foam for extra comfort!!
Pedals: Good basic pedals.
Brakes: Standard linear pull brakes (clincher style). Nice and simple, just be careful if you’re riding downhill to keep your speed under control as you won’t be able to stop in a hurry with this brake configuration as opposed to other bikes with disc brakes.
Gears: There’s 2 options available, I would recommend the 21-speed Shimano Tourney configuration – gears are changed using the EZ Fire Plus shifter on the handle bars.
Wheel set: The wheel set works well on either trail or road thanks to the slick 1.75-inch tires. The tread helps with trail riding but isn’t too excessive to cause drag when on the road/pavement.
Weight: 33.5 pounds or 15.2 kilograms
East & Costs for Maintenance
If you use the bike a lot, you’re bound to need to do maintenance at some point. That might be as simple as fixing a flat tyre, adjusting the gears or changing brake pads.
The sixthreezero Pave n’ Trail Women’s 21-Speed Hybrid Road Bicycle gets a top mark for ease and cost of maintenance. This is due to the fact that you’ll be able to do a lot of the work yourself. The wheels are easy to remove with quick release levers, the seat can easily be adjusted, brake pads changed and with a bit of knowledge, you could even adjust the gears.
If any of the work is outside of your comfort zone, any bike shop will be able to do the maintenance for you due to the very common nature of the components and easy access to parts.
Comfort
The bike gets a top rating for comfort. It’s designed to be a safe and laid back comfort machine while allowing you to go off road.
One factor to consider is the lack of fenders. If you bike to work in wet weather or on wet roads, you’re going to get a very wet backside. This is easily resolved with a low cost bike fender available from Amazon.
Look
The sixthreezero Pave n’ Trail Women’s 21-Speed Hybrid Road Bicycle is a good looking bike. As with other reviews, this is a personal preference because you might actually be looking for a more slick speed machine. It looks sporty while maintaining a good level of comfort so you’re getting the best of both worlds and a true hybrid bike in all the right ways.
