Francis, the cat, is splashed on the floor looking up.
Amelia, his girlfriend, is looking down on him, menacingly.
Before Amelia can utter a word, Francis decides it´s a good idea to start talking.
Cat: I´m sorry, who´re you?
Amelia (annoyed): I beg your pardon?
Cat (slowly getting up): all´s forgiven I guess…
Amelia: all´s… (inhales and exhales loudly) Francis…
Cat (interrupts): How do you know my name?
Amelia: How do I…
Cat (interrupts her again/no sense of danger whatsoever): know my name…
Amelia (deadly): do you have a death wish or something?
Cat (serious): No.
Amelia: Francis, what in the world are you playing at?
Cat: I´m not playing at anything. I was counting the planes that flew over, when out of nowhere you showed up.
Amelia (baffled): You are without a doubt the craziest cat I have ever met in my entire life.
Cat (offended): Hey lady!
Amelia is so shocked that her eyelids go up and nearly fall of off her head.
Cat (cont.): No need to offend okay? Just because you´ve reached the age…
Amelia (fuming): choose you next words very carefully Francis!
Cat (clueless): why?
Amelia nears Francis, murder in her eyes.
Raul, the rat, runs over and gets in front of Francis.
Raul: Hey there Amelia, long time no see…
Amelia: What are you doing?
Rafael (flies over): getting his nose where it doesn´t belong.
Raul (to Rafael): shut up!
Amelia: Francis is…
Raul (interrupts): drunk! He has absolutely no clue what he´s saying or doing. Cut him some slack, will you?
Amelia: give a me a good reason.
Raul opens his mouth to speak but Rafael beats him to it.
Rafael: Just look at it this way, tomorrow morning, when Francis wakes up, he´s going to have a major hangover. Trust me when I say, that´s going to hurt more than he could ever dream of.
Amelia: but I want him to suffer now.
Both Rafael and Raul swallow in dry, fearful.
Amelia looks from Rafael to Francis and realizes the cat is distracted by something.
Francis, on his end, is ogling Rafael, ignoring both Raul and Amelia.
Amelia: why is he starring at you like that?
Rafael: like what?
Raul: Francis, are you okay?
Francis ignores the question and nears Rafael.
Rafael: What do you want?
Francis lowers his head and puts himself face to face with Rafael.
Rafael (cont.): what?
Cat: are we friends Beatrice?
Rafael (stunned): Bea… (gets angry) I´m going to kill you!
Rafael throws himself at Francis.
