Days after LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers trolled the Golden State Warriors after blowing a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals, Draymond Green got his revenge on Cleveland Sports Fans.

Green sent out the tweet seconds after the Cleveland Indians blew a 3-1 lead in the World Series to the Chicago Cubs, who won their first title in 108 years in a 8-7 win in extra innings on Wednesday night.

Cleveland and the rest of the internet had plenty of fun with the Warriors after the winningest team in NBA regular season history couldn’t seal the deal against LeBron and the Cavs. After a long summer of memes and even a choke-themed Halloween part for the Cavs, Cleveland found themselves at the mercy of a 3-1 lead on Wednesday night.

I think it’s important to note here that Cleveland was on the wrong side of the 3-1 collapse against the best regular season team in baseball—the 103-win Chicago Cubs. The synergy, one might say, is remarkable.

We can’t know for sure if Draymond was sympathizing with Cleveland’s almost-champions or straight up trolling the Cleveland sports fans that rode him and the Warriors all summer. Either way, Green is right: in 2016, a 3-1 lead is clearly trash and to be avoided at all costs.
