CW, I appreciate your point of view, and do not wish to come across as condescending, but you seem to have a lot of generalized anger and you're directing it at your audience in a very negative and ineffective manner. As I read, for the most part your point is well taken and the level of hostility that you exude is unnecessary and distracting. You seem to deliberately take offense where none is given or if it was, it could have been dealt with in a less inflammatory manner while still being effectively addressed. Historically, we as black women have exhibited this grace, efficacy, and strength; and it has stood us in good stead. We have not only survived but THRIVED as we shall continue to do with or without our black brothers.
If your point is to share, engage, and promote your point of view, you are doing yourself and your message a disservice. While I myself can be described as a passionate individual about those things that I care about, I actually feel waves of hostility in the voice that you are sharing. And it is that hostility that has made me not want to sign up and/or participate in your efforts. I hope you are able to find a resolution to your anger. As a Cardiovascular Specialty Pharmaceutical Representative and a person who believes in not letting anything (including an unworthy man of any color) come between me and my peace, I've seen firsthand the danger of living with unresolved anger and disappointment. Get it resolved and move on- with any man of any color who will love you as GOD would have them to.
