A HYGGELIG TRIP TO NORWAY FOR CHRISTMAS

I am back after the holiday, and ready to tackle whatever 2018 has to offer! But first I wanted to share a few images I took from our Trip to Norway, it was so lovely to spend a week with family and friends to re-charge the batteries before the new year began.

This time the travel was a bit different, it was the first time we had our puppy with us! The travel itself was a bit stressful as it was the first time with so many vet appointments and paperwork to do beforehand, but once we were on our way everything went smoothly. Bowie, our little furry friend, fitted right in when we came to Scandinavia with his blonde fur!

Although it was raining pretty much every day, we managed to have a few trips outside to enjoy the beautiful Norwegian scenery. What we did not manage to do much of however was shopping or going to cafés, as pretty much everywhere in Stavanger and Sandnes is not dog-friendly. This was so different to me, in Italy you can bring dogs with you everywhere so I have gotten used to bringing Bowie with me no matter where I go.

One of the most scenic places near us is Hafrsfjord, here you can find a new beautiful hiking path along the fjord perfect for a Sunday stroll with or without a dog. Here you can spot cute little houses along the way, as well as the famous monument with 3 large swords.

We had a quick walk in Stavanger before the rain came pouring down, each year I have to get a photo of the pretty heart lamps hanging in the trees there. It has become a bit of a tradition…

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, wherever you spent it!
