From Bare Windows To Beautiful Planation Shutters

You’ve seen before and after photos in marketing fitness products and they usually make you do a double take, because it’s amazing to see such awesome changes. Much in the same way, one of our favorite things to do is take a before and after picture of a plantation Shutters project. We believe it is simply awesome to see the transformation from bare windows to beautiful plantation shutters!

Today, our team at Kirtz® Shutters wanted to highlight this past project of a Breakfast Nook that was remodeled simply by our craftsmen applying their custom, crafted plantation shutters to the windows!

In the picture provided you can see (on the left side) how this breakfast nook started out as a boring, blank space in the home. It looked like a place that wouldn’t be very comfortable to sit. Those with their backs to the window would feel the heat beating down on them and those opposite them would, no doubt, often have to squint their eyes due to the bright overload of sunlight.  

Suddenly, when the plantation shutters were installed the space looked more like a comfortable spot that people would actually want to gather in for dining purposes. The louvers still allow for plenty of sunlight to enter the space when the homeowners desire a brighter atmosphere. Likewise, when they don’t want to have light come in, they can simply shift the tilt rod to close the louvers which keeps the planation shutters from letting light inside.
