My Daughter has been hinting me for the longest time that she wanted to have an Entertainment room in the house or if not a room, at least an area where we could place a home theater, a widescreen TV, a basic sound system with all those surrounds and speakers that would provide us of course, a totally relaxing experience. I think that was a good idea. Nowadays you have to make your home a comfortable sanctuary for every member of the family especially for the kids so you could at least keep them at home most of the time.  Providing them with something that would make them stay home is definitely a good idea.  Chanced upon this design and I think this is doable.

Some teens and young adults though are spending most of the time on the internet so providing a PC or a laptop on the area or on their own respective rooms would be a plus factor.  Nowadays, there are so many useful things that we can find on the internet that tends to make everything automated and makes our lives much easier to manage.  I for one had relied so much on some Apps that's been helping me out with my daily tasks and finance records making me organized in no time. Likewise, my son had mentioned about these Baseball apps that he had seen from some of his friends and he just sounded like really interested. Surprisingly my daughter is much into sports too and had taken advantage of this Free IOS Sports app where she keeps herself updated with latest sports news, games schedules and statistics of the games she's interested in. Her favorite part too is that she can customize her own list of favorite teams and have a quick run through of all the activities and games of her favorite players.  Well, I support her with this of course and I even make myself available to listen to all her stories about her favorite teams and players and guess what? It was really fun!

Since most members of the family are into sports, I think it would be a great bonding experience watching CBS Sports network live online together in a relaxing entertainment room. I might consider the above design or incorporate my own style.  After all, designing a room is not all about beauty or functionality but a balance in between.
