Between Wednesday, April 11 and Friday, April 13, the security tech industry descended upon Las Vegas for Isc West 2018. For three days, the Sands Expo Center was packed with the latest security technology. Over 1000 exhibitors covered the sprawling expo floor, showcasing their latest and greatest devices. Security professionals from every aspect of the industry walked the floor, visited the exhibitor booths and made connections that are sure to bolster their business over the coming months.
LaView was particularly excited for the event as it was our first time as exhibitors at ISC West. We displayed our latest collection, the ONE Series, at our booth. The series focuses on integrating our comprehensive surveillance technology with smart home solutions. These new, innovative offerings were a big hit at the show. We had integrators, installers and distributors, queuing up to have a closer look at our live demonstrations and to pick up our catalog featuring the ONE Series.
Our ONE Dot and ONE PT, available this month, attracted plenty of attention as many of our guests were looking for DIY, consumer-friendly, indoor cameras. As smart home standards continue to develop, LaView is keen to integrate contemporary security solutions into home automation systems. These two unassuming, indoor cameras offer clear resolution, customizable recording settings and IFTTT smart home compliance along with convenient cloud storage. Keep an eye out for these two cameras in the coming weeks.
Two more showstoppers we had on display were our ONE Peek and ONE Nova. Guests at our booth were excited by the ONE Peek as an alternative to the doorbell camera. Unlike the doorbell, the Peek is a peephole camera. It installs directly into your peephole with a camera facing the outside and a 4.3” mini monitor on the inside. It revolutionizes the average peephole and grants visual access to your doorstep for everyone in the family. It was easily the most demoed camera at the show with integrators and installers excited by the prospect of a front door alternative.
The ONE Nova, on the other hand, is an optimized floodlight camera for the exterior of the home. Its sleek design along with its 270° PIR sensor and multiple storage options make it a clear frontrunner for smart home protection. Eyes were drawn toward the ONE Nova throughout the entire show. This and the ONE Peek are on the near horizon, making their debuts on our website within the next two months.
ISC West was a resounding success for LaView. We displayed our newest products and engaged with the security community like never before. The ONE Series was well received by everyone who stopped by the booth, so look out for it on our site in the coming weeks. We appreciate all the support we received at the show and enjoyed meeting returning and future LaView customers. ISC West was a blast and we look forward to an even bigger and better show next year!
