Tell us something about yourself?

I am an interior designer and technical engineer with more than 12 years of experience in the interior industry. With a great team focused at achieving perfect interiors, our ready expertise, in depth knowledge, innovations and constant passion keeps us going. Every minute detail matters when it comes to designing. We constantly strive towards perfection and aspire to give our clients, the dream home they have been longing for.

How did you get started in the design industry?

When I realized that I had a knack for creating designs, researching markets, following trends as well as the power of imagination, I understood that Interior Designing is the right field for me.

Are there any trends that you love?

With interior designing, there is always something new, something trending. So we need to be up to date. Off late, marble stones are my latest fancies.

Is there any particular element that you often use in your design?

Marbles, mirrors, and stone cladding are my personal favorites.

How would you define your personal style?

Stylish and contemporary yet with a traditional touch.

What are the main challenges that you face as a designer?

Convincing clients and getting on the same page is the toughest call. We always try to maintain a balance between our clients’ demands and functional aspects of the room, but it gets really difficult when they aren’t ready to go by our designs and remain adamant. It really takes time to create designs and constantly disapproving them unnecessarily delays the turnaround time of the project.

There’s one more thing that’s very important and that is your credibility as a designer. So if you are freelancing, you need to put your best foot forward. Get your best works and client reviews showcased in your portfolio so that clients are bound to put their trust in you. DesignBids has been a boon for designers like me and I have acquired a lot, both in terms of experience and projects.

Describe your association with DesignBids?

My association with DesignBids has been for more than 4 months now. I have been constantly cracking projects through their ‘Hire a Designer’ section which is pretty simple. Just bid on the project you like or that suits your expertise and wait for the client to shortlist you. The best part is that the process is pretty smooth and so is the response rate. Once shortlisted, you are provided with the clients’ contact number and get to meet the client in person to discuss the project further.

How different is it working with DesignBids?

DesignBids has a pretty smooth and prompt service. They are transparent and the quality of projects on their site is good too. The best part is that the designers are shortlisted by the client after going through their portfolio, hence they have prior knowledge about the working style of the designers.
