What is Your Health Worth?

Full disclosure: As an affiliate for Ultimate Bundles, I will make a commission if you purchase through my link.  I really do love this company and this product, though, and buy it every single year!

It’s that time again.  Ultimate Bundles has expanded and now has a variety of subject-specific bundles, but it’s no secret that their flagship bundles, the Ultimate Homemaking Bundle (in the spring) and the Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle (in the fall, now, this week!) are still my favorites.  For those who don’t know, the Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle is a bundle containing $100’s worth of resources (ebooks, eCourses, etc.) at a huge discount.  This year’s bundle is $29.97.

Not every resource will be a good fit for everyone, and that’s okay.  If more than $29.97 worth of resources appeal to you, it’s a good deal.  (Plus there are bonus products, but I’ll get to that in a minute.)  I want to share with you a few of my own personal top picks from this bundle, but first a few quick facts.

Quick Facts about the Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle

  • The bundle contains 68 eBooks, 28 eCourses, 10 printables & workbooks, 1 membership site, and 1 “summit.”
  • The total retail value is $3,708.80.
  • Bonuses include 1 digital and 7 physical, and together are worth $169.84.
  • The bundle becomes unavailable for purchase on Monday, September 25th at 11:59 p.m. EST.
  • eReader files (.mobi & .epub, in addition to the .pdf’s, for all the ebooks) are usually an additional $10, but if you buy today or tomorrow (Wednesday or Thursday), they’re included in the $29.97.

Topics/Products include…
Alternative Health: 9 products (4 are ecourses)
DIY Beauty & Skincare: 7 products (2 are ecourses)
Fermentation: 5 products (1 is an ecourse)
Fitness & Weight Loss: 10 products (5 are ecourses)
For Women: 8 products (5 are ecourses)
Gardening & Homesteading: 10 products (2 are ecourses)
Gluten- & Grain-Free: 7 products
Healthy Home: 4 products
Healthy Kids: 5 products (1 is an ecourse)
Home Remedies: 10 products (3 are ecourses; 1 is a summit)
Keto: 4 products
Paleo: 8 products
Real Food & Nutrition: 7 products (2 are ecourses)
Recipes: 10 products (1 is an ecourse)
Wellness & Lifestyle: 10 products (2 are ecourses)

Hopefully I counted all those correctly.

My Favorites

Because of my studies over the past few years, many of the topics addressed are those I don’t feel a compelling need to learn about.  And I’m super-picky about essential oil resources, so I won’t call anything a favorite without having read it in detail (which I haven’t had a chance to do with these yet).  Add that together with the fact that different seasons of life call for a focus on different things, and where I’m going with this is that I don’t have as broad an interest in the various topics covered in the bundle this year as I often do, but I want to show you how that doesn’t remove the value for me.

One essential oil resource here that I know I like and trust is the “safe essential oil labels” by Lea Harris.  Whatever your philosophy of essential oil usage, and whatever other resources you prefer, these printable labels are useful.  Including more than 80 oils, the labels provide a quick-reference to which oils are safe for children, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and even for your cats & dogs, as well as any other major, widespread contraindications.  They’re designed to be stuck right to the bottle so you immediately know what you can safely use in a given scenario.  (I know I find it tedious looking up my oils over and over to remind myself whether something is safe during pregnancy or nursing!)  If you’d rather not cover up your bottles’ original labels, you could also just print off the sheets and keep them nearby.  These labels alone retail for $49.97, so even if they were the only thing from the bundle I’m interested in, it would be a good deal.

There’s a whole section for fermentation references this time, and I’m especially interested in Fermentation Favorites ($14.99) and Fermenting Veggies ($12).  There’s also an ecourse called The Craft of Herbal Fermentation.  I don’t know what that is, and I wouldn’t buy the bundle just for that, but I am intrigued by it and it certainly adds value for me — the course sells for $119.

I seem to have a black thumb — and I’ve discovered that virtually all of my yard is now in shade for much of the day because our trees keep growing. (Funny how that happens.)  So I’m also pretty interested in checking out The A-Frame Pallet Planter: 20 Feet of Productive Gardening Space in a 3.5 Foot Planter ($12.95).  Maybe I can manage to locate 3-1/2 feet that gets a decent amount of sun!  Several resources are for newbie canners, too, which should be helpful when I’ve successfully produced a harvest.  (I’ve never canned.)

We underestimate the value of being barefoot.  Thus, I’m intrigued by Amazing Feets: How to Safely and Enjoyably Transition to a Barefoot-Dominant Lifestyle ($9.95).  I’m also curious about whether what we do might already be considered “barefoot-dominant.”

And…recipes.  Because of my dietary limitations, I can’t make use of a lot of the recipes, even though they all fall on the spectrum I’d consider wholesome.  Even at that, though, there are a number of resources I think I can pull from.  Grain-Free Cooking ($5)Beyond Broth ($9.95)Just Enjoy Dessert ($17)Paleogasm ($30)Eat Beautiful ($9.99)Oven Freezer Meals ($3.99), and Pressure Cooking II ($40) all particularly catch my eye for one reason or another.

So that’s…$193.84 worth of products that make my “A list” and another $143.94 worth of additional food-preservation resources that make my “B list,” without even getting into anything else that might intrigue me.  (There are others.)  I’d say $29.97 is a pretty good deal!

One Other Product

There’s one other product I just have to call out here, even though it didn’t make my list.  Kids Cook Real Food: Knife Skills & Safety Lessons.  This course rocks.  But here’s the deal.  The one that’s in the bundle is a subset of the full Kids Cook Real Food course, and you really ought to just buy the whole course.  We have it.  We haven’t finished it yet (but when we do, or at least when we’re closer, I’ll do a full review), but I’ve been so impressed.  The skills are well-covered, but beyond that, Katie just has a knack with kids.  She uses language even the littlest ones understand and enjoy, and my kids have loved the lessons we’ve done so far.  Obviously, this course doesn’t factor into the value for me because we already have it — and then some — but it’s really excellent.

Bonuses & Guarantee

I promised I’d get to the bonuses, so here they are:
