Ok, so Ants are not really interested in you, and it’s unlikely they will attack, but they are VERY interested in your foodstuffs.  It is more common that you might think for homes to be invaded by ants – after all our homes are a source of some very nice foodstuffs, often left in easy to access places.

Even jars or tubs that you think are fully sealed can be accessed by these cunning insects!  There are a few old tales of how to deter them, such as rubber bands around the jar, or a ‘moat’ around your pets food bowl – but personally I think these creatures will persevere and the only way to really rid yourself of them is to have a professional treatment carried out.
