1. Keep the Furniture clean and dust free.

Keeping the home clean and dust free is the utmost objective to protect your furniture from Moisture. Using Air conditioners can also reduce the level of humidity inside your home. Use dust span and cleaners to remove the dust from your furniture time to time.

2. Do not keep the furniture stick to the wall.

Though it’s a nice idea to make more space in your house by pushing your furniture close to the walls, but not in monsoon. Keeping your furniture near to the wall may absorb moisture to the furniture.

3. Use wax and Oil to varnish it up.

Furniture during the monsoon creates enough moisture which makes the furniture wood swell up. Another important tip is to apply some lubricants like oil or wax on the furniture, if possible. Applying oil or wax to your furniture just won’t reduce the chances of getting moisture but also will provide a new life to your furniture’s finish.

4. Maintain its aroma with the odours.

Because of the excess moisture in the air, you may start feeling mustiness in the aroma of your home. To keep the furniture moisture free, you must put some naphthalene balls, are great for soaking up moisture and the unappealing scents it brings. Which will no doubt create a perfect and strong aroma.

5. Keep your house well ventilated.

The moisture in the air of your home must exit from your home too. For this very therapy one must ensure the cross ventilation in the house. And if possible, once in a week move your furniture in the sunlight to let it dry and stay moisture free.
