Wooden deck and stairs absorbs moisture from the air if they are not protected. This traps water droplets in the cracks of wood which causes it to expand and lose its strength. Also, a moist wood has a peculiar smell which causes allergy to most people.
3. Protect from sun rays
Exterior wood stain is a compulsion for houses which have high amount of sun rays falling on the surface annually. Otherwise, it could aggravate cracks due to over dry wood. It reduces its quality due to increase in wearing out.
4. Get lovely textured wood
While applying stains on the wood, you could achieve the texture of your choice. You can select from pigment or dye stains as per the type of wood you have. It is a great way to keep your old furniture look new and long lasting.
You mustn’t forget the benefits of taking care of your wooden crafts else it would dig in a lot of money from your pocket to get it fix or replaced.
