Daughters of India who made us proud in 2017

As year passes by,2017 is the year which makes us unforgettable for few achievements by the daughters of our country.

It’s a great thing for which we have to be proud of.They made us to raise our head and look at them.They became the perfect example for success for all the youths.

Though the time was very less,it does not stop them for making great effects.

Here is the big salute for all of them.

1.Manushi  Chhillar is an Indian model and beauty pageant title holder who was crowned Miss World 2017 on november 18th.

20 year old Manushi  Chhillar represented India at Miss World 2017, where she became a semifinalist in the Top Model, People’s Choice, and Multimedia competitions, and was the winner of the Head-to-Head Challenge from Group Nine and co-winner of the Beauty with a Purpose competition.

Manushi  Chhillar is the sixth Indian woman to win the title of Miss World.

2.Shubhangi Swaroop has made history by becoming the first woman to be inducted into the Indian Navy as a pilot on november 24rth.

Shubhangi, a native of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh will now be at the Air Force Academy in Hyderabad where she will undergo professional training along with the pilots of the Army, Navy and the Air Force.

3.Nandini K R,a native of Karnataka became IAS topper 2017 on may 31st.This is a nostalgic moment for Karnataka and  for India.She could secure  55.3 % of total marks in Mains.

4.Jhulan Goswami is no stranger to breaking records. This year, the 34-year-old scripted history by becoming the world’s top wicket taker in Women’s ODIs, with 181.

5.Anshu Jamsenpa raised the bar, perhaps literally, when she became the first woman to climb Mount Everest two times in five days in May 2017.

6.Shanthi k.Appanna bags bags Kendra Sahitya Akademi Award.Shanthi K.Appanna has been chosen for the award for ‘Manasu Abhisarike’,collection of small stories.She works as s nurse at the railway hospital in Chennai.

7.Indira Banerjee was appointed chief justice of the Madras HC. She joined the ranks of Bombay HC’s Justice Manjula Chellur, Delhi HC’s Justice G Rohini and Calcutta HC’s acting Chief Justice Nishita Nirmal Mhatre.
