I was finally able to find both of the figures I was missing from The Return of Marvel Legends Wave Two last weekend. I found a “Big Time” Spider-Man and the “Mask-on” Dark Wolverine variant at a Toys ‘R Us, which unfortunately meant I had to pay the TRU premium prices of $22.99 for each of them. Ouch!!! Since I doubted I would ever see them at retail again, I caved and paid the price. Darn being a completest!

I was really looking forward to this version of Spider-Man from the promotional images that Hasbro had released before releasing this Wave. I have to say that with the figure in hand now, they really blew it on this one. It looks nothing like the promotional image. There is just too much green. If they would have just left the lines green and not done the terrible overspray on the rest of the body, it would’ve been a better looking figure. The figure is a repaint of the Future Foundation Spider-Man so, the articulation is the same and no need to rehash all that. I am still not sure which of the two Spider-Man figures in this wave was supposed to be the variant. I will likely list Big-Time as the regular and FF as the variant. I am certainly, very glad I didn’t go spend a lot of money for this figure on e-Bay when the craze over very few being found at retail was happening a few months ago. Patience, sometimes pays off, I suppose. Here are some pics, you be the judge. Like or Dislike?
