The Color of Love

Who doesn't like roses? These flowers symbolize Love and passion! And what is the color of "love" rose? Certainly red!
Roses from my parents' garden inspired me to crochet the top and the summer beret for my sister (she is on photo).
The yarn is 100% cotton (the same as in previous post) and the number of the hook is 2,5-3

The main pattern of the top is very simple: 1 d.s., 2 loops, 1 d.s., 2 loops, etc.
I crocheted it round by round but it's possible to crochet the back and the front detailes separately. To make the top more comfortable to wear, sew elastic under the upper edge of the back detail.

The beret is crocheted very simple. Choose the pattern of a lacy napkin you like and crochet until the diameter of a circle-27-30 cm, then start to narrow it until the diameter of a circle=the size of your head.
