Last week I was going through items that were given to me after my grandma died in 2003 and came across this 2 inch guest Soap from Germany. Thinking back, I remember she was in Germany when my brother was born which makes this piece of soap almost 50 years old. When I searched the Internet for Speick I found the company and they are still making soap. The roots of the Valerina celtica contain the essential oil which is an ingredient in the soap. The aroma of the oil is a combination of chamomile and patchouli.
