It's been 4 years in the making.

Audi fans have long anticipated a new SUV model from the German manufacturer. Thanks to YouTube we've been able to get glimpses of the Audi Q8 concept from various sources, but the company is staying true to its brand marketing style by engaging Audi enthusiasts with a story.

Last week Audi released part 1 and 2 of a 5-part series on its Audi MediaTV channel on YouTube, offering a teaser to a model that will be rivaling the BMW X7.

The series has all the elements of a dramatic story: a kidnapping, mystery, a little sexual innuendo...





Part 3 was released today, and all we get are the headlights of the Q8...



I'll give Audi an "A" for effort in its attempt at being creative. I personally like a good story full of mystery. The acting left a little to be desired.

Those who wanted to actually see the car will be disappointed, however. We'll just have to see what Audi has in store with the last 2 episodes.
