“Dear Fellow Paradigmers -I’ve always found journaling a bit difficult – I never can seem to find the words! So the Paradigm Journal with the daily prompts, has intrigued me from the beginning. I thought, if anything can get me to write down my stories, this is it. But guess what? I picked one up only to find that it STILL just sat (yeah I’m that person).
“When I read about how to start a love diary, I was so inspired by the idea of making the writing a game with my partner. What a fun way to connect profoundly while creating a treasure to outlive us. But the real question was would I actually do it? My history would answer, “no way”. But we gave it a shot anyway and guess what? It is so much fun and so fulfilling. I can’t believe it but it’s actually working!
“This is how we Paradigm. I start by finding a page from the Paradigm Journal that inspires me. The prompt takes the guess work out of it! I write a few thoughtful sentences and when I’m done, I bookmark my entry and leave it on our bathroom counter for him to find. Then it’s his turn. That’s it! So easy! So much fun and I absolutely love the window into his world.
“I’d also like to use the Paradigm to partner journal with my daughters! It seems like the older they get, the busier they get and sometimes I just miss the days when we snuggled for hours and shared our innermost thoughts and stories. While those days are becoming a distant memory, I’m thinking that this partner journaling with the Paradigm could be such a fun way to connect with them too. The possibilities are endless. My mom, dad, best friend? This could be so much fun AND I’d be creating a keepsake for generations to come! I’m just so thankful that I’ve finally found a way to get my stories on paper.” ~ Amy G
