E38120 - Bristol VRT - BR Training Vehicle

The latest model to leave our warehouse is a Bristol VRT E38120 a striking example of a British Rail training vehicle.

Our modelled vehicle AYG 941H, first entered into passenger service with West Yorkshire Road Car Company, before being sold to British Rail in the early 1980s. Whilst with British Rail it was modified for use as a mobile staff training vehicle by their Plant and Machinery department.

Many of its windows were removed and filled in and the bus seat interior was stripped out to make it more suited to a new role as an office space for staff training. Since leaving British Rail's ownership, AYG 941H can often be found working as a staff mess room at various events around the country including events such as the Glastonbury Festival.

Our model depicts AYG 941H in its British Rail guise, displaying a blind and side branding which denoting its job. E38120 makes a great addition to any 1980s layout especially alongside our previously released E38119.

Our latest release has an RRP of £34.95 and is available to order from your local
Bachmann retailer now.
