Dear Friends
I am sharing a Rust and Crackle Star using DecoArt supplies. I have used
DecoArt Texture Sand paste
DecoArt Fluid Acrylics in
Transparent Red Iron Oxide
English Red Oxide
Transparent Yellow Iron Oxide
Interference Blue
Metallic Lustre Silver Spark
I actually altered a glass star ornament I had made in my previous post which looked like this .............

I added Sand texture paste using a palette knife around the textures and let it dry and then using various fluid acrylics I got the rust effect. Andy Skinner has a fantastic series of You tube videos demonstrating the Rust Technique which can be seen here
