Best Son

Hello crafters and Happy Thanksgiving to my US friends!  Today's card uses one of my favourite products; the Creative Expressions Crackle Glaze.  I started by covering a piece of black card with the crackle glaze and allowed it to dry overnight.  Once dry, I mixed Warm White Chalk paint with Chocolate Gold metallic lustre paints (both Cr. Exp. products) and painted it on to the dry card.  Within a few minutes, the cracks appear (it is so cool to watch!)  I cut the piece into three strips and mounted them on to a piece of black card.  Next I cut the tool box out of tan card and inked through the die with Vintage Photo distress Oxide ink.  I cut several of the tools from the In The Tool Box set to add to the tool box.  I used a silver paint pen to add detail to each of them.  I used the Stitched Pegboard Frames die to create a pegboard piece for some additional tools.  I used the silver paint pen on them before gluing them to the pegboard backing and attaching it to the top of the card.  I cut the sentiment from tan card and added it to a double hexagon frame cut from mocha and tan card.  The card was completed with milk, tan and mocha mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x
