Puppet Making

This is my second post for the day. Can't remember when was the last time I get to do that, LOL. All my spare time revolves around ABC, and even this particular one is meant for them. The boys Love to watch Baby Einstein videos (yes, I'm guilty of exposing them to TV at this age, but this is the time where I get to have my meal peacefully, or when I have to prepare their meals for them).

And so I wanted to get them the real hand puppets to play with. I suppose I could just buy them online, but being me, I have to DIY it. Bought some large felt from Daiso (I'm in love with this store - everything at MYR5 / approx USD1.50) and randomly sew these out without any pattern. I made the duck from memory, and when I was done, I realised how different it looked from the video. Bummer. So when I made the dragon, I had to refer to the video several times to make sure I wasn't too far off. I'm quite pleased with the outcome :) I'm planning to make a few more characters very soon :)

Alrighty, bed time for mommy! ;)
