Installed HyLoft racks (garage)

Just finished installing the Hyloft Garage racks (45x45)...this was a 1 man job and took me a long time. I had a hard time finding the studs in my garage. Apparently there are metal beams right above my ceiling, and then the 2x4's are above the metal so they dont get detected by a regular stud detector (maybe I should have invested in a better one). Everytime I thought I detected a wood beam...I drilled into metal. I gave up and finally went into the garage attic and mapped out the location of the 2x4 sections. They were not equally spaced as I had assumed. With this map in place, the rest was easy. This task took me two days to complete (off and on). The first couple hours was the mapping portion. Also, word of advice, put the HyLoft racks together and get the hole locations mapped out before starting (yes, a pain, but necessary).
