Ideally, you will need to use coffee that is at room temperature to make a frosted coffee. Hot coffee will melt the ice cream. So don’t use hot coffee. You may want to use cold-brewed coffee, but again, make sure it’s room temperature coffee.

When you make your frosted coffee at home, you could use either decaf coffee or regular coffee. To make this recipe you will need about 1/2 cup or 4 ounces of coffee.

How Much Caffeine is in a Frosted Coffee?

There are about 48 milligrams of caffeine in 4 ounces of coffee. So this frosted coffee has about half of the caffeine of your average 8-ounce cup of coffee.

You can make this ice cream special drink in no time at all, you can mix this up quickly in a blender. If you don’t happen to have a blender you can mix up the Chick Fil A Frosted coffee by placing the ice cream after it has softened slightly and the coffee into a clean glass jar and giving it a good shake.
