Getting one of my original ideas published was on my bucket list. Last year I got to cross that off my list. YIPPEE!
I sent a box of repurposed whimsical crafts to Green Craft Magazine. I was thrilled to get an email notifying me that they wanted to publish my Queenly Playing Card Dolls AND write a little article about it.

That article was published in June 2017 and I made the decision to start my blog where I could “publish” my ideas and not go through the trouble of waiting for a magazine to approve an idea.
Last month I got an email from another publication in the Stampington family of craft magazines, Art Doll Quarterly. The editor of Art Doll Quarterly had seen my “Queenly Playing Card Dolls” and wanted to feature them in the May/June/July issue!
Yesterday a new issue of Art Doll Quarterly arrived in my mailbox with my Queenly Playing Card Dolls on page 122. Sure is fun to see where my little creations find their place in the world!
