Another week, another weekly.
This week is a little bit different from other weeklies as it spans two months. I’ve been thinking for a while about how to deal with this, and finally decided to put the whole week in one Spread, and put that spread in August since that’s where most of the days are.
After my last August daily page, I will insert my September monthly and then continue the September part of this week after the monthly spreads. I will have to flip back and forth for a few days, but it makes sense to me, and that’s what matters in a Bullet Journal.
Do what makes sense and works for you
As usual with my weekly spreads, I started by drawing out my line work. I do all of this free-hand. I like how it looks a little bit had drawn, and I’m also too lazy to use a ruler – doh!
So here’s the ruler-free page. No colour yet.
As you can see, I’ve only got check boxes for the Boho Berry Challenge for the days which are in August. I’ve decided not to participate in a challenge in September since I’ll be travelling for half of it and won’t have time to consistently participate in a challenge.
I decided to go with blue again for the colour
As you can see, my colouring is still very simple, and that’s the way I like it. I don’t want colour or decoration to distract from the actual purpose of my Journal – to keep organised and stay on top of my to-dos.
I’ve used this style of weekly spread for quite a while now, and I find it works very well for me.
How do you deal with a week that’s split over two months in your Bullet Journal?
