One thing is always fun, finding an Ammo Box anywhere. This one was on private territory of the cache owner, but easily accessible from the road. I just parked, on the side of the road, walked a bit, overcomplicated the search, got spiders all over me and even a tick got on me somehow.
Ammo box in the pipe |
A mushroom. |
The pipe and some more pipes |
As you see above there are many pipes which would be a convenient hiding place and of course I first went to the right to get some spiders in my hair and webs all over my clothing as I was on the way to home later that day. Lucky for me nothing dangerous spider I collected, and most I could safely put back to a tree.
To the woods |
While walking back to the car I spotted some really disturbing thing climbing up my right arm, which is my favorite one, nothing huge, but more of a concern, a tick. This is the second this week I caught before it could dig deep into my skin. I also recommended the cache owner to add that to the attributes as this time it was trivial I picked it up while searching for the geocache. I highly recommend everyone to do so. I'm always happy when someone recommends changes like this to my geocaches to make it better for the next geocachers to come and search.
Many thanks for the cache owner for placing this Ammo box on his land for all of us to enjoy. When I arrived it was upside down and open, but I fixed it up and closed back after signing the log.
