In my role as Academic Program Manager I support colleges in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), data science and business analytics. One of the most frequently expressed wishes is that SAS provide use cases. No theoretical structures, but real, real data from companies with a tangible business problem that needs to be analyzed!
We have enough business case experience. Records that originally came from real customers, too. Of course, we first had to "tune" them a bit, so that they remain compatible with one another's data protection and, on the other hand, are also good for the analysis. Because "beautiful" and useful raw data is almost only in the storybook. The reality often looks like they have to be elaborated first. Was the name of the variable chosen correctly? Are the data values consistent? Lack of data? Were the right attributes chosen? Etc., etc. The challenge of data preparation might be worth its own use case.
