JEE Main 2019 Registration will begin from 1st Sept for the January examination. Jee Main is an annually held engineering entrance exam conducted by National Testing agency (NTA) twice a year. The Exam that grants admission in various B.E, B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Plan courses to the aspiring candidates. A large number of Engineering colleges including CFTIs and NITs accept JEE main score cards offering admissions to eligible students.

JEE Main 2019 Registration

From 2019 onwards, JEE Main exam will be held twice year – once in January 2019 and later in April 2019.

Further, the exam will be conducted by newly established National Testing Agency (NTA) for the first time.

Date of Registration

JEE Main Registrations 2019 for January exam will begin from 1st September 2018 ending on 30th September 2018.

Similarly for April Exam, the application forms will be available in February 2019.

Mode of Registration

JEE Main Registration 2019 will be a completely online process.

Documents to be uploaded

Listed below are the documents necessary for JEE Main 2019 Registration in the specified dimensions:

• Passport size recent Photograph (Size: 4KB to 40KB; Dimension: 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm; Format: JPEG/JPG).

• Candidate’s Signature and the Signature of his mother/father/guardian (Size: 1KB to 30KB; Dimension: 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm; Format: JPEG/JPG).

Registration Process

Steps involved in JEE Main 2019 application form can be concluded as:

Step I: Signing Up

Visit the official website. Click on the “Apply for JEE Main” button. Carefully read all the instructions and click on “Proceed to Apply Online” button.

Fill the authentication form details (Name, DOB, mobile number and email ID) accurately. Click on “Submit” button.

The candidate will receive an email containing their User ID and password on their registered email ID. The candidates will also receive a confirmation of registration on their registered mobile number.

Step II: Completion of Application Form

Log in with the given user ID and password to fill in all the exam related details (like name, address, personal details, academic details, etc). Click on “Next” button.

Check all the details filled and click “Submit” button. After successful registration, the candidates will receive a unique application number. Note down the application number.

Step III: Uploading required Documents

Click on “Upload Scanned Image” button. Upload all the necessary documents in the specified format.

Step IV: Payment of Application Fee

After checking all the details, proceed to the fees payment. Select the preferred exam city center and the date for the examination.

Step V: Printout of Completed Form

Take a print out for future reference.

Correction Facility

Post completion of the registration process, NTA will provide candidates with a correction window of 2-3 days in order to correct the errors made while filling the application form.

The following points are to be noted for availing this facility:

• Online Process: It is a completely online procedure.
• Correction Window: The correction window is slated to be held in October 2018 for January exam and in March for April exam.
