Healthy "primitive" people and their diets: The Adventures of Doctor Weston A. Price

Weston A. Price was a dentist who travelled the world in the 1930s. He knew that primitive people were known for having Excellent teeth. He believed this condition of the teeth to reflect overall good Health. He wanted to study these people directly and find out about their teeth and health, and what it was about their Diet that helped them achieve such physical excellence. Everywhere he went, he found primitive groups and tribes on their natural, traditional diet, to have excellent teeth and excellent overall health. He compared these to the same race groups who had adopted a modern diet of refined foods, and had all the bad health problems of modernised people. There was a huge difference!
He published a book called "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration". It included his studies and findings of the teeth and health of these people, and also all he found out about their diets and nutrition. It is an excellent book that I would highly recommend.
In general, the pattern he found was that these traditional people with excellent health had a natural diet, free of modern refined and unnatural foods. Their diets were much higher in nutrients than the modern diet of his time (which is no doubt even worse today).

This is the groundbreaking, classic work of Dr Weston A. Price. He was a pioneer of his time who found new and important things about traditional "primitive" diets and how they ensure excellent health. He compared these to what is wrong with our modern diet and how it causes so many of our health problems. This shows us how we can learn from primitive nutritional wisdom to develop great health for ourselves! This book is the only one of its kind.
