Guest Post: Spring Makeup Look by MadeFromBeauty

Spring is finally here and with a new season comes a change in my Makeup bag. I love to change up the products I reach for everyday at this time of year to create a fresher, lighter look. So here are the products that have made their way to my everyday Spring Makeup bag…

For my base I’ve been reaching for my KIKO Hydrating Fluid Universal Fit Foundation (RRP £6.90). This medium coverage, lightweight base is perfect to pop on with your fingers for an easy weekend look or can be built up with a brush throughout the week, but no matter how you apply it it’s always the perfect natural, glowing complexion we all want at this time of year.

For concealer there’s a new release in my collection, the Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer (RRP £7.99)and I can’t put it down. I have to admit, the shade range on these concealers isn’t the best on the market, but the shade Light has been working wonders under my eyes to brighten the area, giving me a more awake, illuminated undereye.

For a dusting of bronzer I’ve been revisiting an old faithful, my Soap & Glory Solar Powder (RRP £11.00) This bronzer comes with two shades, so it is easy to customize your shade with the change in seasons. I’ve currently been dipping into the lighter shade of the two for a natural shade around the face.

On days when I want a little extra glow and warmth I’ve been adding a touch of the Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Bronzer in Ready To Go (RRP £4.00). This baked bronzer is heavy on the shimmer, so works perfectly as a subtle highlight on the high points of the face or to add a glow to the Solar Powder.

For blush I’ve been dusting off my cream blushers for the first time this year and the one I’ve been head over heels with again is the Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blusher in Soft Pink (RRP £6.99). I love the dewiness this product gives to the cheeks, giving a sheen to the apples even when it has set. The shade Soft Pink is perfect for this time of year, young and fresh and bright enough to add a pop of colour after a long winter.

On the eyes I like to also use cream products because they are so easy and quick to use. I’ve been using a combination of the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pink Nude (RRP £4.99) across the lids and the KIKO Long Lasting Eyeshadow Stick in Golden Chocolate (EEP £6.90) to add depth at the outer corners. The mascara I’ve been using recently is the tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara (RRP £17.00).I love this mascara for a super black, voluminous dramatic lash, which gives the eyes the definition it needs when using cream shadows.

On the lips I like to change things up a lot but one lipstick that has been my go-to recently is the Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick in Rose (RRP £7.99). These lipsticks are a beautiful formula that’s both hydrating and long-lasting, so a perfect choice for everyday. Their creamy texture plumps lips and creates a stunning spring lip.
