Sleep Well To Lose Weght

What did you do in the last night when you were totally unable to sleep?

Different people did different things. Most of you automatically had a bag of potatoes or other comfort foods.

If you are not getting enough sleep, you are most likely to take more calories. Researchers show that people who sleep 90 minutes less than the people who sleep average take 550 more calories.

Researchers theories that sleep deprivation increases the level of ghrelin.  The less you sleep, the more the ghrelin. If you sleep 5 hour in a whole day, ghrelin increases by 9 percent. Ghrelin increases hunger. According to the research, if you sleep less, you will feel hungrier.

Another hormone called leptin reduces when you are sleep deprieved. When you sleep less, you have less leptin. Leptin instructs you to stop eating.

Sleep deprivation will give you more time to have more food in your stomach. Susan Zafarlotfi, PhD, clinical director of the Institute for Sleep and Wake Disorders at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey said, “Sleep debt is like Credit Card Debt. If you keep accumulating credit card debt, you will pay high interest rates or your account will be shut down until you pay it all off. If you accumulate too much sleep debt, your body will crash.”

A proper sleep can reduce your body weight. Let your body to sleep well in the night.
