Here at Flora, we feel as though we’re all one big family. Some of us are new to the company while others have been here for 20+ years. We each bring a unique set of qualities to the company. Therefore, we thought we’d post an employee spotlight from time to time so our subscribers can get to know our employees a little better.
Name: Alana Orr
Title: Graphic Designer
What is Your Role at Flora?: I work on a variety of projects, such as printed marketing materials, the Flora Insider, mailers, and some social media advertising. Recently, I’ve been learning about in house photography.
Years with Flora?: 1 year
What brought you to Flora?: Flora’s focus on health and sustainability.
If you were stranded on a deserted island and could only take one Flora product with you, what would it be and why?: Baobites (US/CA), hands down. They are just so delicious.
It’s the weekend, what are you most looking forward to?: Going kayaking with friends.
If you could have one “super power”, what would it be and why?: I realize that this is a popular choice, but I would definitely pick flying.
Share something most people don’t know about you.: I worked as a sea kayak instructor for a number of years at Jericho Beach.
We all try to eat healthy, but what is your guilty food pleasure?: Dark chocolate! Around 80%, with hazelnuts.
