Apply Sunscreen

Increase consumption if you sweat a lot, are pregnant, sick, temperatures go above 90 degrees, or at a high elevation. Also make use of a good facial moisturizer, and a good body lotion. This will help to add moisture back into your skin that has been lost during your day.

Shorten Showers, & Pat Dry

Another wonderful way to protect your skin is to shorten showers, which can be drying, and pat dry versus rub dry, which can irritate the skin. Skin which is dry or irritated will be more prone to sunburn, peeling, and discoloration than healthy skin. These two steps have the bonus of helping to reduce acne breakouts also.
