Well yesterday afternoon myself and Paul went to Global Gym for my first session. He tells me that everything went well, and that I should be do well with this. I'm hoping that he's correct.
We did several exercises with weights including: squats, leg extensions, butterfly curls and more. Then we walked on the elipticals for about 20 minutes. The whole session took approx. an hour and a half.
All in all I enjoyed myself, and I'm looking forward to going back tommorrow.
I've decided not to weigh myself on a weekly basis or take photos of myself to compare, because if I were to have a bad week I worry that I may discourage myself. Instead, I'm just going to look at overall results.
When I have to buy a couple of new pairs of pants because the one's I currently own are too damn big (thanks Fiona), then I'll feel better than if I had lost an extra 5 pounds compared to the week previous.
