8 Effective Ways To Get Rid Of Pimples Naturally

  •   Dip a cotton ball in tea tree essential oil and apply it on the pimples and blemishes. Rinse it off after 15-20 mins. Tea Tree oil is very strong and for this, you can dilute it with water or any other carrier oil.  
  •   Mix few drops of tea tree oil in your moisturizer or aloevera  gel and apply it on your skin. This can have a soothing effect on your skin, and help reduce dryness and itchiness.




2. Ice Cube

Wrap an ice cube in a piece of cloth and gently place it on the affected area for few seconds and repeat the process. This can help reduce the redness, swelling and inflammation of pimples instantly. Ice-cubes are great for improving blood circulation to the affected area, removing the accumulated dirt and oil from skin and for tightening the skin pores.

3. Aloe Vera

Aloevera contains antibacterial properties that are every effective for treating acne. It prevents bacteria from infecting the acne wounds and accelerates the healing process. Its anti-fungal properties are very useful in treating inflammation like boils and cysts on the skin.
  • Scrape out some fresh aloevera  gel from Aloe Vera leaves and apply directly on the affected area.
  • Mix aloevera gel with few drops of essential oil or vitamin-E oil and then apply it on the skin. Leave it for an hour and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Repeat this once or twice daily.

You can also purchase aloevera gel bottle from the store , but make sure that it is free from any added chemicals or other ingredients.




4. Green Tea
A lot of people drink green tea as it is loaded with antioxidants and offers several health benefits. Green tea can also be applied directly to the skin to reduce pimples. It contains tannins and flavonoids which are known to help fight inflammation and pimple-causing bacteria.
  •  Dip a green tea bag in boiling water and let it stay for 3-4 minutes.
  • Allow it to cool down
  • Apply it on your face using cotton ball or just sprinkle it over your face using a spray bottle.
  •  Leave it on for 10 minutes or over-night
  • Rinse your face with cool water.

5. Steam

·        Fill a large bowl with hot water and allow the steam to come in contact with your skin for few mins. You can few drops of any essential oil of your choice to the water for better results.
  •  Rinse your face with lukewarm water and pat it dry. After drying apply oil-free moisturizer.

6. Honey
Honey has antiseptic properties and it prevents the growth of bacteria in your pores. Its anti-inflammatory properties can stop the bacterial infection in your pore from getting worse.
Honey also prevents swelling and redness that comes from acne. For those with dry skin, honey can be the best option to treat acne without drying out the skin.
  •   Mix 1 tbsp honey and 1 tbsp brown sugar. Leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water.
  •  Mix 2 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon baking soda. Apply the mixture on the acne affected area with your fingers and gently scrub in circular motions for 4-5 minutes before washing if off with lukewarm water.




7. Lemon Juice
Lemon juice is rich in vitamin C which helps get rid of pimples faster. Make sure to use fresh lemon juice and not bottled juice as they contain preservatives.
  •  Dip a clean cotton swab in fresh lemon juice and apply it to the pimples before going to bed.
  •  Mix one tablespoon of lemon juice with one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and    apply it on the pimples. Keep it overnight. In the morning, wash the skin well with lukewarm water. Avoid this remedy if you have sensitive skin.
8. Garlic
Garlic contains antifungal, antiseptic and antioxidant properties that can help in treating pimples faster. The sulphur in garlic results in quicker healing of pimples.

  • Cut a fresh garlic clove into two pieces
  •  Rub the garlic on the pimples and leave it for 5 minutes
  •  Repeat this several times a day
