It all started with the need for a caretaker in our family.

“WeMa Life was an an idea borne out of the family circumstances. We were looking for a caretaker for an elderly member of the family and just couldn’t find the perfect health solution. Hence, considering the complexity of such problems, we decided to cater to the needs of those patients who wanted to have their health needs met easily at home with the help of a digital platform. This is how WeMa Life originated as we decided to make things easier for the patients to seek healthcare solutions with just one click.”

WeMa life is an ecosystem where Healthcare providers can very efficiently meet patients who need their services and likewise goes for the healthcare providers too. We have aggregated  multiple service providers onto a single marketplace. This empowers customers to self-manage their health and wellbeing. People can quickly and securely search, book and purchase multiple services on a planned or on-demand basis, and in a single transaction. This is all manageable through a single and trusted ecosystem.

We aim to become the leader in driving the integration of care and health & wellbeing services to Connect Care within Communities in the UK and India. We strongly believe that successfully achieving this will create a future of quality, available and affordable healthcare to everyone in even the most rural environments. WeMa life has been launched as the market innovator to realise this. Meet the team who executed the idea –

• Rohit is the CEO. He has had a career in IT spanning more than 30 years, which included successfully selling card payment services company YESpay to WorldPay  in 2013. Rohit is focusing on developing Lavanya’s business strategy and building strategic partners across multiple sectors and geographies including the UK and India.
• Rajal, Lavanya’s CFO has over 25 years’ experience working within a range of businesses in the construction, outsourcing and technology sectors, combining strategic, operational, and financial expertise helping these businesses grow. She also oversaw the M&A activities leading to the acquisition of YESpay by WorldPay. Rajal looks after finance, legal and compliance and business expansion.
• Vivek is Lavanya’s COO. He graduated with a degree in biomedical sciences from Kings College London and has a background in professional services. He is responsible for evangelising WeMa Life and making our vision a reality across UK and India.

Our team not only has a sustainable and systematic approach towards providing healthcare services to the patients but also aims to digitize it to the extent that there is no hassle, be it for patients or providers.
