The Dream:
Attending and speaking at health information management associations’ conferences can be a goldmine for any healthcare IT company whose business is totally dependent on them. Networking, publicity and lead generation are the major areas any event participant would aim for.
But being one of the speakers is far better than being an ordinary participant. Though both will be there during the same day and event, the mind set will be completely different. If you are one among the audience, then you would expect something from the panelists. At the same time, speakers would be surrounded by the people during the breaks and after the conferences. Who knows, it will help you gain 2x or 3x your revenue, if you hit at the right areas.
Because,
- Your session will be liveblogged or covered by an industry journalist
- You will be popular among the industry
- You could influence clients to explore business opportunities
- You may get followers
- You can inspire new entrepreneurs and partner relationships
