A new exhibition opening at the Florence Nightingale Museum, in the basement of St Thomas’s Hospital, London, on 21st September explores Nursing during history’s deadliest Flu Pandemic in 1918. Building on Florence Nightingale’s work during the Crimean war, World War I ushered in a new era for military nursing. Women from all walks of life were filled with a desire to serve their country.
