If your kid gets a sports injury despite the above steps of preventions, you can treat the injuries by RICE: R- Rest the injured body part completely; I- Ice pack application for short 20 minutes interval throughout the day; C- Compression of the injured body part using splints, special boots, elastic wraps and air casts; E- Elevation of the injured body part above the level of the heart helps to reduce the swelling.
