Hello Erasmus community,

You have just started your Erasmus Exchange Program or you are simply curious to learn more about the living community abroad? Then this blog is for you.

Living abroad is an exciting experience which does not only mean exploring another city, another country or experiencing a new culture and meeting new people as simple holidays abroad would also involve. It even means creating a new home away from your family and everyday life. Therefore many questions can come to your mind when you have to start thinking about living with foreign students.

And that is the reason why your Flacommy team decided to share mutual experiences of some international flat-sharing communities in the city of Budapest. The aim of the blog is to help the new ones who want to start their exchange program in the easiest way by giving some practical tips and information about flat-sharing. But we also want to entertain curious and interested people by telling real and funny experiences of flat-sharing communities.

For the blog we will interview sharing communities in Budapest about how they manage living together in this beautiful city. We will try to cover several interesting topics to help anyone who wants to have some insights into the lives of other Erasmus students. Of course this can be adapted to other cities as well, but it will be even an opportunity for you to learn more about Budapest.
