On September 20th and September 27th, people from all over the world will leave their homes and businesses, taking to the streets to join young activists in demanding action on Climate change. The decision to close our store network and head office in support of the Global Climate Strikes was one that came easily – we are proud to support our young people in taking a stand against the single biggest threat to the future of our planet – climate change. As a business, we are passionate about protecting the wild places we hold so dear, and empowering individuals and communities to create positive long term change for the good of our planet. We recognise the impact that we have on the planet as an outdoor equipment retailer, and we are on a journey to become the most environmentally sustainable business that we can. We encourage our customers and our team to let their voices be heard on September 20th and 27th.
