Trees. Without them we’d live in a smog filled, desolate concrete landscape.  Arbor Day however, is a day for celebrating our leafy friends. Whether you’re planting trees or drinking tea in the shade, take a moment to appreciate how awesome trees really are.

As part of LinenTablecloth’s Arbor Day festivities, we created this tree based Tablescape.  Inspired by the bright cherry blossoms of spring this palette is ideal for wedding receptions, garden parties, and bridal or baby showers.

Linen

Emulating strong tree branches we have a 90×132 in. Rectangular Polyester Tablecloth Chocolate for the base of our tablescape.  A 14×108 in. Sheer Pink Cherry Blossoms Table Runner added some much needed color to the table. Of course, how could we make a tablescape for a tree based holiday without green something.  Reseda 20 in. Polyester Napkins sit on the chargers in a simple triangle fold.

Serveware

The warm gold tone of leaves in the fall was captured by using Gold Band Clear Glass Charger Plate 4/Pack. Our Cleopatra Silverware also carries gold tones in it helping to draw the serveware together.

Flowers

While we used a Cherry Blossom Runner, we chose to pair it with 21 in. Ivory Silk Peonies Bunches, 21 in. Pink Silk Roses, and 10 in. Pink Silk Peony Bouquets.  The pink flowers accented the pink runner and the neutral ivory flowers balanced out the otherwise strong colors found in this tablescape. Drawing from other elements, brown metal tins held the flowers creating two vases for the table centerpieces.

Accents

To further draw off of the natural theme, twine wrapped bottles decorate the sides of either centerpiece.  Flower heads are delicately balanced on top and beside this ornamentation. With the addition of these small pieces, the tablescape is complete and each individual element smoothly moves into the other, similar to the way leaves move in a summer breeze.
