It’s statistically the most miserable time of the year this weekend, culminating on Blue Monday. However, that’s no reason to stay in and sulk! Instead, get out there and enjoy yourself with some of the cheapest things to see and do this weekend. We’ve got art, culture, film and theatre for you to enjoy. Plus, if none of these things take your fancy, we’ve also got a list of the best FREE things to do in January, as well a whole host of free films to check out. To mark what would have been Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday, Quentin Blake has drawn up some special portraits for the British Library to commemorate some of Dahl’s most celebrated and loved characters.
