Zgirls 3: Furies Guide: Tips & Tricks for Dummies

Welcome to the dummies guide on how to get stronger in Zgirls 3: Furies. Here are some tips and tricks on how to progress further into the game, increase your overall power and Upgrading your buildings fast in the game.

Upgrade your buildings

Once you are done with the tutorial, always build as many different types of buildings as possible to increase your overall power. Also, upgrade your Base as much as possible. The higher the level of your Base, the higher your other buildings can be upgraded in terms of level. You will require different types of resources to build or upgrade a building. There are 7 types of resources in this game:

  • Food
  • Water
  • Fuel
  • Electricity
  • Iron
  • Lumber
  • Money

Building or upgrading takes an amount of time before the building has successfully been built or upgraded. The higher the level of the building, the longer it takes to successfully upgrade a building. To speed up the upgrading or building process, you can use those ‘Building Speed Up’ items or ‘Speed Up’ items to reduce the time taken to built or upgrade. You can use Diamonds to instantly finish building or upgrading but I would not recommend it unless you have a ton of Diamonds to do so. The higher the building level, the longer it will take to finish upgrading to its next level and the more resources required.

List of buildings

Here are some of the buildings that you can build or upgrade:

  • Base – Your HQ. Upgrading your Base increase the max level of other buildings and unlock new buildings. You can also use Diamonds to purchase City buffs ranging from peace shields, gathering speed bonus or HP bonus to all your troops. Warning! After upgrading your base to level 6, war protection will be lost so be prepared.
  • Assault Training Center – This is where you can train fighter troops which can either defend your city and attack enemies (Increases overall power). There are different types of fighters that you can train like exile, defender, stabber, samurai and many more. Upgrading your Assault Training Center unlocks better fighters for you to recruit.
  • Shooting Base – This is where you can train shooter troops which can either defend your city and attack enemies (Increases overall power). There are different types of shooters that you can train like archer, survivor, hunter, watcher and many more. Upgrading your Shooting Base unlocks better shooters for you to recruit.
  • Medical Tent – If your troops get wounded during a battle or being attacked, you can treat them in the Medical Tent. Take note that wounded troops exceeding the Hospital capacity will not be treated and will die permanently. Upgrading your Medical Tent will increase its capacity and healing speed.
  • Commercial Hub – This is where you can trade money for different resources. You will have to call in a helicopter in order to do so (Tap on the Commercial Hub->Call). You can only call in a helicopter once per day. Upgrading the Commercial Hub increases the helicopter’s payload.
  • Garrison – Your city’s main defense. If your Garrison’s durability becomes 0, your city will be forced to relocate. Garrison’s durability will automatically recover over time. Upgrading the Garrison increases the city defender attack and siege defense resistance.
  • Institute – Allows you to research different technologies like unlocking a building rapid growth, increase food production, novice zombie might (All units gain bonus might when attacking zombies), shooter resistance and many more. Researching a technology requires an amount of time and you can use ‘Speed Up’ items to speed up the researching process. You can also upgrade your Institute to unlock new technologies for you to research.
  • Tower – Help to attack invading enemies. Upgrading the Tower will increase the Tower’s attack and attack speed.
  • Shelter – Provides housing for survivors in your city which will increase your population. Upgrading the Shelter will increase the maximum population.
  • Communication Center – Shows additional information while scouting enemies or resources on the World Map. The higher the Communication Center level, the more different types of information that it shows.
  • Power Plant – Produces Electricity. You can either build more Power Plants or upgrade your Power Plant to increase the production rate and max capacity.
  • Depot – Protects your collected resources from being plundered. Upgrading the Depot will increase the number of resources protected. At level 8, the resource sale will be unlocked, allowing you to collect/purchase resources.
  • Lumber Mill – Produces Lumber. You can either build more Lumber Mills or upgrade your Lumber Mill to increase the production rate and max capacity.
  • Water Filter – Produces Water. You can either build more Water Filters or upgrade your Water Filter to increase the production rate and max capacity.
  • Mechanical Farm – Produces Food. You can either build more Mechanical Farms or upgrade your Mechanical Farm to increase the production rate and max capacity.

If you look around the map, there are some zombies that are wandering around your city. You can actually tap on them to kill them and obtain resources and a chance of obtaining Diamonds. There are also buildings outside your city that you can interact for free resources or special battles so keep a lookout for those.

World Map

You can tap the World Map icon at the bottom right side of the screen to access the World Map. Here you can either send troops to gather resources or use your heroes to hunt monsters for various rewards and EXP. Hunting a monster requires durability and fuel which can be recovered over time or purchased using Diamonds. You can also attack other player’s cities if you want to steal some resources from them.

How do I recruit and appoint Heroes?

You can recruit officers at the Heroes Hall (Heroes Hall->Recruit Heroes). Every 17h 30min, the Super and the Advanced recruitment will be available for you to recruit for free so take advantage of that for a chance of high rarity heroes. To check your hero formation, go to your ‘Officer Dispatch Center’, tap ‘Formation’. To appoint a hero, firstly tap and hold a hero, then drag the hero over to the empty/current hero formation slot. You can also appoint troops in battle by dragging the slider to the right.

You can also increase your hero’s level using Hero exp cards (Tap any of the heroes that you want to level, tap the ‘+’ icon). I suggest leveling your best heroes first as they have better stats than the low rarity ones. To unlock hero skills, tap on any of the hero’s locked skill and the game will show you the requirements in order to unlock that skill.

Complete the benefit quests, events, and tasks

I recommend completing the benefit quests first (Main Menu->Benefits), the duration of the benefit quests will last only 7 days. After that, complete both the main and daily tasks. Some of the tasks require you to build or upgrade a certain building while others require you to gather a number of resources or recruit a number of troops. Completing a task rewards you with resources, Hero EXP and ‘Speed Up’ items. Prioritize doing the daily tasks first since they will reset daily. Also, check out Events from the main menu where you can complete event quests for various rewards.

Check your resources

Always check your resources to make sure that your resources do not deplete over time. You can check by tapping on any of the resources at the top of the screen. This will show you your current total number of that resource. If the number is red (downwards red arrow symbol), I suggest either building or upgrading buildings that increase production of that particular resource. You can also use resource items to instantly gain resources.

If all else fails, you can do rapid production. What it does is that you can try your luck and obtain a huge amount of resources at the ?% success rate. If the rapid production fails, that building will lose its durability where you will have to repair it to restore it but the success rate will decrease permanently.

Always transport your resources

As for the Power Plant and the Dining Hall buildings, make sure to transport your resources so that your population does not decrease over time due to hunger/blackout. To transport your resources, tap the Power Plant or the Dining Hall building then tap ‘Transport’. After that, drag the slider to the right and then dispatch your hero.

Join an Alliance

If you have not done so, I would suggest joining an Alliance (Guild) as soon as you can. You can unlock some of the Alliance features such as:

  • Alliance Shop – You can use your Contribution points in exchange for different items such as ‘Speed Up’ items, peace shields, VIP points, and teleportation scrolls.
  • Battles – This is where you can check the battle logs if you wish.
  • Alliance Center – You can donate stone blocks to the Alliance so that you can build Alliance Centers which are useful for events.
  • Help – You can assist other Alliance members to speed up their building and upgrading duration. I suggest helping your Alliance members so that they will also help you as well.
  • Wages – Make sure to collect the alliance attendance rewards daily (More Alliance members log in for a day increases the attendance rewards).

If you are new to this game, you can download this game on either IOS or Android.
